Understanding Your Test Scores
The ASVAB can be converted into 10 composite score areas known as “line scores” that determine what MOS (Military Occupational Specialty), or job, you qualify for.
Below are the parts of the ASVAB that affect your AFQT score and each of the 10 line scores.
Your Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT) score determines whether you are eligible to join.
You usually will need to score at least 31 to enlist.
